Today I have a fun fold card that always gets a "WOW!" and it's super easy to create.
It's called a bridge fold. The sloth image (Back on Your Feet) goes perfect with these sentiments from the Share Sunshine digital stamp set. The only stamping on this card is the sloth, and he's quick & easy to color with Stampin' Blends markers.
You'll be amazed at how easy this fold is to create. Start by cutting and scoring a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock as shown here.
You'll need these pieces too. Be mindful of the one-way pattern on the paper with the palm trees! Now is the time to stamp & color your sloth.
You'll also need these pieces. You can purchase the Share Sunshine Digital stamp set HERE for $12.00
Now it's time to attach the bridge. Fold the left side of the card so that the outer flap faces up. Adhere the bridge strip to the front panel of that flap only. Leaving the right side of the card unfolded, attach the right end of the bridge to the last panel on the right. The bridge should be attached on the left and right ends only. I use a strip of Tear & Tape adhesive for strength. Now you can fold all the panels & crease with your bone folder.
That's all there is to creating this super easy bridge fold card. And because it was assembled with the bridge strip attached while the right side was not folded, the whole card collapses to fit into a standard A-2 envelope! I embellished my card with some leaves and flowers cut using In the Tropics Dies and gems.
Thanks for checking out my tutorial! Have a great weekend.
