Driving By to Wish you a Happy Valentine's Day!

Your car guy will love this Valentine!  I used the free Sale-a-Bration stamp set called Driving By on this card.  The coloring is done with Real Red & Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends.  Light Pool Party creates a shadow to ground the image.

The conversation hearts are cut from Sweet Talk Designer Paper.  You can fussy-cut them, or if that's not your thing, there are dies to cut them out too!  The die set also cuts the smaller hearts behind the car.

Spring Catalog Showcase

Hello!

Today I'm showcasing some cards created by my team, Paper Dolls.  For each Stampin' Up new catalog release, we have an opportunity to swap cards within our group and these are from the Spring Mini Catalog.  Enjoy!

Beth Daniels created this card using products in the From My Heart Suite.  The designer papers and embossing are stunning!

This is the inside of Beth's fancy fold card.

This card is from Marta Jones.  She used Bird Ballad laser cut cards for her base and added an image from the Lovely Lily Pad stamp set (one of this year's free Sale-a-Bration offerings).  Three gems and a bow are beautiful finishing touches!

Carolyn Abbey created this striking card with products from the Peaceful Poppies Suite.

This adorable card was created by Paula Zeiher with the Dressed to Impress Bundle.  Love these cute shoes & sentiment!

Cindy Brown combined the Under My Umbrella Bundle from the Spring Mini Catalog with Beautiful You to create her card.  Very clever!  The umbrella sparkles with Wink of Stella.

This is my card.  I used Happy Birthday to You (Sale-a-Bration) along with the coordinating dies. The colors are Petal Pink & Mint Macaron.  The center of the flowers is accented with sparkling Champagne Rhinestone Jewels.

Bloomin' Hearth Thinlits & Clearance Rack Refresh

Hey Crafty Friends,

By now you've probably heard that we are counting down the days until the brand-new Stampin' Up catalog comes out.  Get your sticky notes & wish lists ready!  Before that happens, though, some things have got to go.  Old with the old, in with the new.  A lot of my old favorites are retiring with this catalog and I've been feeling sentimental, so I've been pulling some of them out this week to play with & share with you.

The Bloomin' Heart Thinlits are one of my all-time faves.  The heart is so beautiful and intricately detailed...I've used this for weddings, Valentines, engagement congrats, bridal shower invitations, thank-you's, you get the idea.  It's definitely a good value!  There is a matching stamp set too, but the thinlits stand alone just fine.

I love the simplicity of this design.  It doesn't get much easier than this - the base is made of Crumb Cake cardstock, the heart is die-cut from Very Vanilla and the sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso.  Finish it with a few pearls and a bow tied from Linen Thread and you're finished!  Simply elegant.  

The Bloomin' Hearth Thinlits and the matching Bloomin' Love stamp set will be gone after May 31 (or sooner if supplies are exhausted).
