These are pocket cards made to hold a gift card. My embellishments are made using die-cuts, but the basic card shape can be made with just a scoreboard. Each of these cards is a little different, but the basic directions are the same for each.
The gift card is adhered with 2 glue dots.
There's room on the back of the note card for a personal note.
To begin, you'll need an 11" x 4-1/4" piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock (1/2 sheet). Score the short edge as shown here:
Now turn the cardstock and score on the long edge as shown here:
Next, trim away the 3/8" scored edge except for the tabs as shown below. Cut angles on the tabs for a better fit and round all four corners.
These are the additional pieces you will need - Thick Whisper White for the inside note, and contrasting designer papers to decorate the pocket. Round the corners on the inside note and the pocket flap.
Adhere designer paper to the pocket flap using Snail adhesive.
Turn the cardstock over and adhere the larger piece of designer paper to the front of the pocket. Use Tear & Tape (double-sided tape adhesive) on the tabs, which will fold to the inside.
Fold all the scorelines and assemble the pocket, tabs folding to the inside. The 2 strips of Tear & Tape are all that's needed to hold it together.
The Cherry Cobbler & Gray Granite colors give this project a masculine flair. I hope you like it!
