Holiday Showcase - Part II

Hello Friends...as promised, Part II of the Holiday Showcase.  All of the cards that I am sharing today were created by my talented teammates.   If you missed Part I, you can see it HERE.

Laura Malanowski used Real Red Stampin' Blends to color this gorgeous cardinal from the Toile Christmas Bundle.  The buffalo check designer paper is included in the Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper pack.

Vicki Shaffer's fun fold card is created with the Snowman Season stamp set & coordinating Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Linda Smith combined the Perfectly Plaid Bundle & the Peaceful Boughs Bundle to create this sharp design.  The tips of the pine boughs are accented with Snowfall Accents Puff Paint!

This is my card.  I used the Snow Front & Itty Bitty Christmas stamp sets along with Wrapped in Plaid Specialty Designer Series Paper on my card.  Read more about it HERE.

Holiday Showcase - Part I

Hello Friends,

Welcome!  Today and next Tuesday I'm sharing a variety of Holiday cards, all created by my talented team.  With every new catalog I host a swap, and these are the gorgeous cards they created.

If you are in need of inspiration to begin working on your holiday cards, you'll find it here.  I've listed the products used in this showcase at the end of the post.  Enjoy!

Carolyn Abbey used the images from the Nature's Beauty stamp set to create this beautiful moonlit scene on a sponged background.  The sentiment is from Still Scenes.

Ellen Bennett created a striking recessed panel card using the Beautiful Boughs Dies - so elegant in Silver, Gold & White!

Cindy Brown used the Nature's Beauty stamp set with the Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper.  The deer is embossed with Shimmer White Stampin' Emboss Powder on Vellum Cardstock.  The ribbon is Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon.

Beth Daniels used the So Many Stars Bundle with Delicata Metallic Golden Glitz Ink.  Read more about her card on her blog -Fancyfloridastamper.blogspot.com.

Marta Jones created her unique card with Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper, Large Letters Framelits & the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.

That's a wrap for today's showcase.  I appreciate these ladies so much for sharing their talents!  Stop back next Tuesday for more holiday inspiration.

Snow Front Scene

Hello Friends,

Today I'm sharing cards I stamped with Snow Front.  I love sets like this with multiple images that can be arranged to create a lovely little scene!

Wrapped in Plaid Designer Paper is the perfect background.  Each sheet has gold foil accents on one side.  The flip side doesn't have foil, but is still beautiful, as on this card:

Each of my cards is accented with Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter.  Crafters and raccoons have one thing in common...we both like sparkly, glittery things.  Raccoons have to forage for their shiny things, but all we crafters need to do is open up a Stampin' Up catalog!

Ink colors used on this card are Shaded Spruce (evergreens), Cherry Cobbler (birds), Early Espresso (trees & deer), Balmy Blue (pond), Gray Granite (cabin & snowman), and Sahara Sand (swish under the snowman).

The stitched rectangle shape is 3" x 4-3/8" and the mat behind it is 3-1/4" x 4-5/8".  I stamped the scene on a slightly larger piece of Whisper White cardstock before cutting it with the stitched rectangle die.

The glitter is added at the end after the card is assembled.  I used a Quickie glue pen purchased from Michael's Crafts for this step.  Let the glue dry for a few minutes until it no longer looks wet before sprinkling on the glitter.

The greeting is from a separate stamp set called Itty Bitty Christmas.  This set is a must-have for Christmas - it has 18 greetings for cards, tags & treats!

I had fun making this card.  This is also the card I made for our team card swap.  I used my Stamparatus to place each image, so making multiples was quick & easy!  I have 4 plates (the Stamparatus comes with 2 and I purchased 2 more separately) and used both sides of the plates.  The cabin is stamped first, then masked off before the rest of the images are added.
