The first layer on this card was created by stamping the compass in Balmy Blue on Balmy Blue cardstock, then embossing it with the Subtle embossing folder. Here's how it looks prior to embossing and assembling the card:

Always stamp first, emboss second. It just doesn't work in the reverse. Trust me on this, been there done that!
The Night of Navy banner is 1" wide and flagged on one end using the Triple Banner Punch. The anchor is popped up on Dimensionals and the ship's wheel trinket is adhered with 2 glue dots.
