Wishing You Well Christmas Card

Have you looked closely at the Wishing You Well stamp set on page 35 of the Stampin' Up! holiday catalog?  It's the one with "That Bow"!  This is one of Stampin' Up's new Distinktive stamps.  These types of stamps create different opacities in a single stamped image for realistic depth and intensity.

For this project I've created a quick & easy Christmas card by pairing Wishing You Well with the Joyous Noel Specialty designer papers.  Love the foil accents on this paper!  Here are the steps to create this card:

Cut a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock 2-3/4" square.  Rub it with your Embossing Buddy, then stamp the greeting in the center using Versamark ink.  Sprinkle with Copper Embossing Powder and heat set.  Stamp the wreath image in Tranquil Tide.  Mount on a 3" square of Tranquil Tide cardstock.  On a scrap of Thick Whisper White, stamp the bow in Real Red.  Fussy-cut and adhere using Stampin' Mini Dimensionals.  Attach 7-8 Red Rhinestone Jewels randomly around the wreath.

Cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Joyous Noel DSP and mount it on a Tranquil Tide card base.  Adhere the finished wreath to the card front and you're done!  Thanks to "That Bow" and the beautiful designer paper, this is a Wow card!

I love stamp sets that can be used in multiple ways and Wishing You Well is one of these.  In addition to "season's greetings", it has "just a note", "wishing you well", and "sending you our thoughts and prayers".  Just by changing the colors and sentiment, you have a completely different card.  It's a great set to have in your craft stash!
