Repeat After Me...

Repetetive stamping is a fun way to get more use out of your stamps.  A stamp set can take on a whole new look when you stamp the same image multiple times!  You can do this one of 2 ways...either stamp the same image repeatedly without re-inking, or stamp the same image several times for a repetetive look.

I'm playing along with TGIF Challenges this week. The challenge is (surprise) Repetetive Stamping!

Update - August 3, 2018 - this card was chosen as the winner for #tgifc 170!

This abstract flower image is so much fun!  It's from the Sunshine Sayings stamp set and although I've used a lot of the sayings from this set, I've never stamped the flower before.  I wanted to use bright, happy colors for this card, so I went to my Brights ink collection and pulled 7 of my favorites.  They are from the top, left to right, Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo, Mango Melody, Gorgeous Grape, Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green and Bermuda Bay.

The die-cut is 4 layers to give it great dimension on my card.  I cut 3 layers in Basic Black and glued them together with liquid glue.  The top layer was created by sponging the colors listed above onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock before I die-cut it.  It's offset from the black layers just a bit to create a shadow.  Don't be put off by the thought of cutting this 4 times, because the die brush pops these right out of the die with no issues.

Here you can see how I sponged the colors on before I die-cut.  (Only this photo was taken after I cut it out.  In my excitement to see how awesome this would look, I forgot to take a before-photo!)

I added centers to a few of the flowers by coloring basic white pearls with my Stampin' Blends.  A few scattered Irridescent Sequins are the finishing touch.

I hope you're inspired to try this card!  Click on any of the thumbnails below to shop at my online store.
