Happy Together

Happy Monday!

To follow yesterday's wedding card theme, I thought I would share the card I made for the wedding shower.  I love, love, love the Pedal Pusher stamp set.  It works on so many levels - love, thanks, and hello are just a few.  My card base is cut from Blushing Bride.  The designer paper is from the Birthday Bouquet paper pack.  I used my blender pens to color the bike in Blushing Bride and the accent colors are Rose Red, Soft Sky & Soft Suede.  The Whisper White organza ribbon & doily give it that "wedding" feel and well, as we all know, you can't go wrong adding a touch of glitter.  In this case, Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper cut with the Bloomin' Heart thinlits.

Don't try to find the Pedal Pusher stamp set in the current Stampin' Up! catalog.  It's not there.  It was available for FREE during Sale-a-Bration, which ended March 31.  But, there is one way you can still get it for FREE.  Notice I shouted FREE.  (Who doesn't love FREE?)  Be the first person to book a workshop through me in the month of June and in addition to the regular host benefits, I have a FREE, brand-new unopened Pedal Pusher for you.  Hosting a workshop is painless - you gather your friends together and I do all the work!  If you've been thinking about hosting a workshop, June is a great month to do it.  All-new catalog, lots of new products, plus a FREE Pedal Pusher!  You'll be glad you did, I promise.

Sale-A-Bration Continues

Hello Stampin' Friends,

Here's another card using the new Pedal Pusher stamp set available during Sale-A-Bration.

Actually, I used images from both new Sale-A-Bration stamp sets, Pedal Pusher and Party Pants, and Glitter Tape (also available free during a Sale-A- Bration).  I colored the bicycle image with my Blender Pens using Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry.  The stripes are from the Going Places designer paper stack.  I really like the way that simply cutting it on an angle adds interest to this card, don't you?  The glitter tape can be colored using a sponge dauber, but I decided to leave it white so it would stay neutral and not compete with the colored image.  It doesn't really show up well in the photo, but this sparkling sheer tape is gorgeous.  I used Stampin' Up's Archival Black ink for a crisp, clean image that doesn't bleed when colored with water-based ink.  I know that a lot of my customers have ordered this set and I'd love to see what you make with it!  Email me photos of your work and I'll share them on my blog and my FaceBook page!

Have a great day,

Pat

Brand-new Stamps!! Yay!

Hello again!

Beginning on February 16, Stampin ' Up has 2 new stamp sets that you can earn for FREE with any $50 purchase!  Biking is one of my favorite activities, so the Pedal Pusher stamp set really appeals to me.  It's great all by itself, but I also love the way it works with the stamp sets I already own.  On this card, I added the sun image from Kinda Eclectic, the "swish" from Work of Art, and of course the grunge is from one of my all-time favorites, Gorgeous Grunge.  The "Hi" is from the other brand-new stamp set which becomes available on Tuesday, Party Pants.  I'm working on a card to show you that uses this set, too!

Check out these 2 new stamp sets on my website beginning February 16.  Be sure to look for the third new Sale-a-Bration item also, a set of 3 rolls of gorgeous glitter tape in gold, silver & white!  (Hint:  you can color the white with a sponge dauber to match any color!)

Happy Stamping,
Pat
