I admit I'm a bit obsessed with this Christmas Barn stamp set! It's so much fun to create with.
I'm inspired by all the beautiful fall colors in my neighborhood this week. It's been a gorgeous Autumn in northern Ohio!
Colors I used are Soft Suede for the barn and card base; Mossy Meadow for the mat; Crumb Cake for the background.
I found some birds in my High Tide stamp set (retired) and used Early Espresso to stamp them before embossing the background with my Evergreen Forest embossing folder (retired). The fence is stamped in Early Espresso on Crumb Cake cardstock, and the barn is also stamped in Early Espresso on Soft Suede cardstock.
About the Trees...
The three trees are from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set. I stamped them on Crumb Cake cardstock, using my Stamparatus to achieve the multiple colors on one stamp. For two of them, I stamped them in Crushed Curry ink first, then used a sponge dauber to add Poppy Parade and stamp again. The third (red) tree was stamped in Poppy Parade first then added Cherry Cobbler. The tree trunks are stamped with Soft Suede.
This card is similar to one I've made before. On my previous card each tree was just one color - I like this new version much better! You can find details for that card here.
