Peaceful Place Spanner Card

 Q.  What's Black & White & Read (Red) all over?  I'm really dating myself with this old joke from my childhood!  Not a newspaper, but this beautiful card made with Peaceful Place Designer Paper and my favorite vintage snowman stamp.

This is one of my favorite fun fold cards, the Spanner Card.

How fun is that?  These cards are so easy and fun to create.  Here's the recipe-

Card base - Basic Gray, 8-1/2" by 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4".  On the card front, use your Paper Trimmer to cut up to the fold, 1-1/4" from both the left and right edges.

You'll need 4 pieces of Designer Paper 1" x 4", 2 for the card front and 2 for the inside.

The Designer Paper with the silver foil trees is 2-3/4" x 4".

The snowbank is cut from Basic White Thick cardstock using a retired die that I had.  If you don't have a die you could easily cut this with sharp scissors.  It's about 1'1/2" high on the left side and 1" on the right side.

The snowman is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on Basic White Thick cardstock and colored with Real Red Stampin' Blends.  It doesn't show in this photo, but he's all sparkly with Wink of Stella glitter and mounted on Stampin' Dimensionals.

The Basic White panel on the inside of the card is 2-7/8" x 4".

All three of the sentiments are stamped in Real Red.  The one on the card front came from my October 2021 Paper Pumpkin kit.  The small sentiment on the second layer (I call that one the secret sentiment) is from a retired stamp set called Wrapped in Christmas.  The inside sentiment is from Evergreen Elegance.

Pro Tip:

Use multipurpose liquid glue to adhere the designer paper pieces.  You'll want a little wiggle room to get them spaced out just right!
