Pretty in Pink Fun Fold

I had some more fun crafting time today!  I made this Z-Fold Birthday Card with Masks, Blending Brushes and my favorite new Product Suite, Hues of Happiness!

To make this style card, you'll need a piece of cardstock 4'1/4" x 11".  I used Flirty Flamingo here.

Score the long edge at 2-3/4" & 5-1/2".  Fold as illustrated above - mountain fold at 2-3/4" & valley fold at 5-1/2".  The 2 Basic White panels are die-cut using Stitched Rectangle dies - the third from the largest, approximately 2-5/8" x 4".

The Designer Paper on the back panel of my card is part of the Hues of Happiness Suite.

I used Butterflies & Flowers Layering Decorative Masks with Flirty Flamingo ink and a Blending Brush to create the pattern on the background.

The two Basic White panels line up perfectly when the card is closed.  Begin by centering the inside panel and adhering it first.  Then you can place the front panel on top and line it up.  Before you attach the front panel, make a light pencil mark on the back to show where the fold on the card base is.  After that you can use liquid glue (just on the left half!), line it up again and hold in place for 30 seconds while the glue dries.

The Hues of Happiness Product Suite is on pages 108 & 109 in the new Annual Catalog.  You can order from it starting May 3!  If you're a regular customer of mine, you should have received yours already.
