Bewitching Treat Box

These boxes are a fun way to gift a little treat to someone special for Halloween!

I created my own box using the Bewitching Stamp & Punch Bundle.  It's filled with my favorite, Dove chocolates!

I'm sharing this project at a new challenge blog (new to me, anyway!), Stampin' Up! Only Challenges.  The theme for #312 is Halloween!

Here's the template.  Cut a piece of cardstock 7-1/2" x 6-3/4".  I used Pumpkin Pie.  Score the long side at 1-1/2", 2", 4-1/2", and 5".  Score the short side at 1", 1-1/2", 5-1/4" & 5-3/4".  Using paper snips, cut out the 4 corners along score lines as shown in the orange shaded areas.

The designer paper is Plaid Tidings from 2020 (retired).  The top piece is 1-1/4" x 3-1/2" (round the corners).  The bottom piece is 2-1/4" x 3-1/2".  Be sure to use a strong adhesive to assemble the box - double sided Tear & Tape or Liquid Multi-purpose Glue.

Added a little surprise message on the inside!

The box is held closed with a belly band, 1" x 7", cut from Pumpkin Pie cardstock.  The witches hat is stamped in black.  I used the Stamparatus so I could stamp it 2-3 times until it was a deep, rich black.  The dots are colored with Stampin' Blends.  The hat band is made from a piece of white glimmer cardstock colored with a Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends marker.

I would LOVE to be your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.  If you live in the U.S., you can order your papercrafting supplies from my online store.  Just click any of the images below.  So easy!

 THANK YOU!

Window Card with Pop-up for RRCB 193

Hello all!  I love a good fun fold design and this one is easy to create AND impressive too!

This is a window card with a fun pop-up element on the inside.  The stamp set used is an oldie but a goodie - Illuminated Christmas (2018).  You can re-create this card using any small image you have that will fit inside the circle!

Here's the inside.  The card base is a standard A2 size cut from Very Vanilla Thick cardstock - 8-1/2 x 5-1/2, scored on the long side at 4-1/4".  The inside is a separate piece of Very Vanilla regular weight cardstock, 8" x 5-1/4", scored at 4" & 6".  It's folded into a Z-fold and adhered inside the card base only on the largest 5-1/4" x 4" section.

There's a piece of designer series paper 5-1/4" x 1-3/4" adhered to the center section of the Z-fold that coordinates with the front of the card.  I used a beautiful retired paper called Brightly Gleaming that has copper accents.

The circle on the card front is die-cut after the designer paper is attached.  I used a 2-3/8" circle die, but yours could be a little larger or smaller.  Whatever image you choose to place inside the circle should be stamped on another piece of cardstock and die-cut using the same circle die.  Spread liquid glue on the area shown in the photo and position your image inside the circle (while the card is closed - as shown here).  Hold in place for 30 seconds while the glue dries.

I also cut a slightly larger circle with the middle cut out to create a frame for the three Wise Men image.  The focal image is heat-embossed with copper.  This card uses just 3 colors -Very Vanilla, Night of Navy and Copper.  Clean and simple!

As this card uses an older stamp set, I'm sharing at the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog.  Love the idea of a challenge created specifically to use old favorites!

Here are the Stampin' Up! products I used on this card that are still available for purchase.  Remember, the Illuminated Christmas stamp set and Brightly Gleaming DSP are retired, but you can re-create this fun fold using the stamps you own.  What's in your stash?

Fabulous Fall Birthday Card

The fall colors these days are so gorgeous and such an inspiration!  Not only the trees, which turn more beautiful by the day, but the pumpkins too!  Heading home today, I saw a huge field of ripe pumpkins not far from home that I never noticed when they were all green, but now that they've turned orange it's a stunning sight!

My card today uses the Christmas Barn Bundle and Beauty of Friendship.  The barn is stamped on Soft Suede using Early Espresso Ink.  The trees are Crushed Curry plus Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze.  My card base is Soft Suede, the mat is Pumpkin Pie and the embossed background is Crumb Cake.  The trees are stamped on Crumb Cake cardstock so they blend into the background.

There's no white cardstock in sight here, just soft, subtle colors.  I love this Christmas Barn bundle for fall and masculine cards.  It's not just for Christmas!
