Introducing...Starry Sky!

I think "Electric" best describes this new shade of blue.  It really is vivid - my photos don't do it justice!

I have a box full of these flowers and leaves from the Hues of Happiness Suite cut and ready to go on my desk, so this card was pretty quick to make!

The layer of Designer Paper behind the Scalloped Rectangle is another new In-Color - Orchid Oasis.
These two colors play together beautifully!

Pretty in Pink Fun Fold

I had some more fun crafting time today!  I made this Z-Fold Birthday Card with Masks, Blending Brushes and my favorite new Product Suite, Hues of Happiness!

To make this style card, you'll need a piece of cardstock 4'1/4" x 11".  I used Flirty Flamingo here.

Score the long edge at 2-3/4" & 5-1/2".  Fold as illustrated above - mountain fold at 2-3/4" & valley fold at 5-1/2".  The 2 Basic White panels are die-cut using Stitched Rectangle dies - the third from the largest, approximately 2-5/8" x 4".

The Designer Paper on the back panel of my card is part of the Hues of Happiness Suite.

I used Butterflies & Flowers Layering Decorative Masks with Flirty Flamingo ink and a Blending Brush to create the pattern on the background.

The two Basic White panels line up perfectly when the card is closed.  Begin by centering the inside panel and adhering it first.  Then you can place the front panel on top and line it up.  Before you attach the front panel, make a light pencil mark on the back to show where the fold on the card base is.  After that you can use liquid glue (just on the left half!), line it up again and hold in place for 30 seconds while the glue dries.

The Hues of Happiness Product Suite is on pages 108 & 109 in the new Annual Catalog.  You can order from it starting May 3!  If you're a regular customer of mine, you should have received yours already.

Hues of Happiness for Mother's Day

Hi friends, today I'm sharing a little preview of one of the beautiful new Product Suites in the next Stampin' Up catalog.  This Suite will be available to purchase on May 3!

The Suite is called Hues of Happiness.  It was the first thing on my wish list from this new catalog!  The leaves and flowers on this card are all die-cut from the Designer Paper - I love when Stampin' Up! does that!

I cut up two of these sheets and now I have enough flowers to play all day -----

There's no waste after you finish cutting up this DSP!

The "Happy Mother's Day" sentiment comes from the Timeless Tulips stamp set (retiring on May 2).

My design was chosen as a Team Pick at the April 30, 2022 Tic Tac Toe Card Challenge #tttc158!

The background on my card is done with a mask and blending brushes.  I used 3 colors - Pool Party, Fresh Freesia & Gorgeous Grape.  The base on this slimline card is made from Fresh Freesia.  Cut the cardstock at 8-1/2" x 7" and score the short side at 3-1/2".  The Basic White for the card front is 1/4" smaller, so 8-1/4" x 3-1/4".

I wanted to dress up the envelope but still leave white space for the address, so I cut an oval from scrap paper and placed it in the center of the envelope before using the mask & blending brushes.

I'm so pleased with this card and the coordinating envelope.  I hope you like it too!
