A Pair of Summertime Samplers

 Hi Crafty Friends!

Today I'm sharing one of my favorite projects, a pair of samplers.  This is a gift for dear friends we visit every summer who have a lakeside cottage.  The idea for these has been floating around in my head since last summer.  They tell the story of a very wonderful place!

These are sized to fit a 9" x 9" shadowbox frame (purchased from Michael's Crafts).  The bottom layer of white cardstock is 9" x 9" and the Pool Party cardstock layer on top of that is 8-1/2" x 8-1/2".  Each individual section is matted in Pretty Peacock cardstock.  Let's take a closer look at each:

I pulled together a LOT of different Stampin' Up products, some retired and some current, for this project.  Starting at the top left and going clockwise, here is a list:

1)  Lilypad Lake & Lakeside Framelits (retired) and Waterfront Stamp Set
2)  Whale of a Time Designer Series Paper, Sailing Home Stamp Set & Smooth Sailing Dies
3)  Large Letters Framelits (retired)
4)  Whale of a Time Designer Series Paper & Catch of the Day Dies (retired)
5)  Best Catch Stamp Set (retired), Catch of the Day Dies (retired) & Dockside Dies
6)  Best Catch Stamp Set (retired) & Catch of the Day Dies (retired)

Again, from the top left going clockwise:

1)  Large Letters Framelits (retired)
2)  Colorful Seasons Stamp Set (retired), Seasonal Layers Thinlits (retired), By the Dock Stamp Set,            Dockside Dies, & Whale of a Time Designer Series Paper
3)  July 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit
4)  Jar of Love Stamp Set (retired) & Everyday Jars Framelits (retired)
5)  By the Dock Stamp Set, Dockside Dies, Waterfront Stamp Set, Stitched Rectangle Dies & Timeless       Tropical Stamp Set

WHEW!  I told you I used a lot of different products, lol.  Hopefully I didn't forget to list any of them!

I chose white frames to complement the colors on the samplers.

I don't usually share projects that use so many retired products, but I hope you enjoy these and get some great ideas for your own samplers and cards.  If I can answer any questions about these samplers, please leave a comment below or email me!
