Butterfly Gala & Gingham

I'm hooked on the gorgeous colors in the new Gingham Designer Series Paper - Daffodil Delight, Grapefruit Grove, Lemon-Lime Twist, Balmy Blue & Highland Heather.  Such beautiful springtime hues!  I've been creating butterflies with these colors for days...

These cards are so much fun to make!  I used sponge daubers to add color to Whisper White cardstock scraps.  The color combinations are so beautiful...

By sponging the color onto the cardstock before stamping the butterflies, the black ink stays bright and sharp.

A bowl of butterflies ready to add to cards!

The designer paper on each card is 2-1/2" x 5-1/2".

I used the sentiment from Humming Along to stamp a stack of Get Well cards.  I never seem to have these on hand when I need them - problem solved!

The Gingham Gala sequins are self-adhesive.  Love this idea!

Did you know?

Adding embellishments like sequins in odd-numbered groupings (3,5 or 7) is more visually interesting than using even-numbered groupings.
