Daisy Delight

Hi friends!

Daisy Delight is the first stamp set I purchased from the new catalog.  I love it!  Here's the first card I made:

Do you love the colors?!  The colors in the designer paper are so soft and sweet.  I used Peekaboo Peach for my card base.  The designer paper strip is 2" x 5-1/2".  The Night of Navy cardstock behind it is 2-1/4" x 5-1/2".  I wanted to do something a little different so I stamped "Thank You" vertically - this is a top-opening card.

Here's the inside - the single daisy is stamped in Peekaboo Peach and the greeting is stamped in Night of Navy.

This design also looks great oriented horizontally!  "Thank You" is stamped in Night of Navy.  The daisy is stamped in Peekaboo Peach.  The center of the daisy is stamped twice - first stamp the solid center image in Daffodil Delight then stamp the second center image over top of that in Peekaboo Peach.  This is a photopolymer stamp set, so lining up the images is easy-peasy!  The Daisy Delight bundle includes the Daisy Punch - a must for cutting these beautiful flower images!

The daisy is actually two stamped images attached together with a drop of Multipurpose Liquid Glue in the center.  I used a pencil to curl the edges of the petals downward and attached the daisy to the card front using one Stampin' Dimensional.

To decorate the envelope I stamped the same flower from the inside of the card twice.  This time I used Peekaboo Peach on the stem and Daffodil Delight on the blossom.

Creatively yours,
