Here's another card for the guys using the Lift Me Up Bundle.
The balloon decorating the envelope is stamped in Night of Navy, and so is the smaller balloon on the card. Do you like the way the clouds look like they are behind the balloon on the envelope? That's done with a technique called masking. It's super simple and fun - stamp the balloon first. Then stamp a second balloon on a post-it note and fussy cut it with scissors. Place the sticky post-it note balloon over your first stamped balloon and stamp the clouds. Remove the post-it and see the magic!
Originally I wanted to stamp the sentiment on vellum and lay it over the Whisper White. But stamping on vellum requires patience to let the ink dry and some days I lack much of that (my bad). But I do like the way this looks just as well.
The large balloon is die-cut from Night of Navy cardstock. The pieces behind are Real Red and Silver Glimmer Paper. Who says a guy card can't have glitter? :)
I hope you've enjoyed this idea and thanks for visiting my blog today!
Happy stamping,
Pat
I like the smokey slate & night of navy colors together!
