All For Baby

Hello again!  I am totally obsessed with stamping these adorable baby clothes!  The patterns and colors in the Pansy Petals Designer Paper are perfect to use with All For Baby.

I used Blending Brushes and Basic Borders dies to create the clouds for a fun background.

This is an easy and fun technique.  Using the Basic Borders dies, cut this shape from a piece of scrap cardstock.  Gently swirl the color across the edge of the die-cut.

Move the die-cut down the page.  Move it either left or right so your clouds don't line up with the ones above.  Lightly brush on more ink and repeat as you go down the page.

You'll end up with a piece that looks something like this - each one will be unique!

Here I've used Pale Papaya for the card base.  The background and the blue outfit are Misty Moonlight; the floral onesie is die-cut from Pansy Petals DSP and the third outfit is Calypso Coral.  The gingham print is also from the Pansy Petals DSP pack.  Incidentally, Pansy Petals is on sale this month!

Check out the stitched details on the onesie - :)  Love it!  I used micro-glue dots (Amazon) to hold the clothespins in place.  Stampin' Up's Fine Tip Glue Pen would work for these, also.

I had a lot of fun with these cards!  Here are the supplies you'll need to make your own-click any of the links below to shop my online store.  I appreciate your support!

Snowflake Wishes - More Christmas in July

 Hi Friends,

If you're a cardmaker, it's never really too early to start on Christmas!

I used current stamps & dies with some of my retired papers to create this beautiful Christmas card.

The colors are Pool Party (card base, snowflakes & designer paper) and Misty Moonlight (sentiment).

The large die-cut snowflake is stamped in Pool Party.  On top of that is another snowflake cut from Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper (retired) and the smallest one is cut from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper (also retired).  The center of the snowflake is a single Blue Adhesive-Backed Gem.

The stitched V-shape is cut using the brand-new Basic Borders dies.  I love these dies and find myself using them a LOT.

Cookie Monster - Just for Fun!

First off, I owe thanks to Chris Slogar of Buckeye Inklings for the inspiration on this card.

This is such a fun card to make.  Give it a try if you have little ones in your life!

I decided on a square card to fit the image as I imagined it.  My card base is cut from Granny Apple Green at 10-1/2" x 5-1/4", scored at 5-1/4" to create a 5-1/4" square card.  The size was easy to decide on because the only square envelope in my stash was 5-1/2", lol.

Cookie Monster's head is die-cut from Pacific Point cardstock using the largest die from Stampin' Up's Sunflowers Dies.

The mouth is 1/2 of a 2-inch circle punch.  The white part of the eyes is 1-1/8" and the black part is about 1/2".

The words and cookies are part of the Love You More Than dies & Nothing's Better Than stamp set..  The cookies were stamped on Crumb Cake cardstock using Early Espresso ink.

Cookie's head and one of the cookies is popped up to give the card dimension.  Hope you like this!
