When I was looking through them and saw all the beautiful designer papers there, I was inspired to get out my beautiful Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Paper once again. This paper has rich, gorgeous colors - Night of Navy, Rich Razzleberry, Mint Macaron, Delightful Dijon, Cajun Craze, Soft Suede, and Very Vanilla with Copper Foil accents.
I decided to pair the DSP with another retiring favorite, Botanical Blooms and the matching Botanical Builder Framelits. I love the copper foil accents in this paper!
I die-cut & layered flowers from the Botanical Builder Framelits in Rich Razzleberry, Night of Navy and Very Vanilla. I sponged the edges of the flower petals with matching inks on Sponge Daubers. The flower centers are Rich Razzleberry Enamel Shapes from the Brights Collection.
The leaves are die-cut from Mint Macaron cardstock.
A length of Copper Metallic Thread adhered behind the flowers with a Glue Dot coordinates nicely with the copper foil accents in the designer paper. The sentiment is from another retiring stamp set called Suite Sentiments.
