Darling Donkeys

Of the three donkey images available, I chose this one for my card because he looks so cute "kicking the letters".  PLUS, no need to try to line the letters up straight, win-win!

I used some floral images from the Art Gallery bundle to soften the look of this card.  The designer paper is part of that suite also, but really you could replicate this card with any floral images and designer papers you already have.  I used Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody to stamp the images.

Darling Donkeys is a stand-alone stamp set, so to create this card you'll need to do some fussy-cutting.  I'm one of those crazy crafters who likes that sort of thing - I find it satisfying - but I know it's not for everyone!

Fine Art Floral

 

Bold & beautiful is the best way to describe the new Fine Art Floral Suite!  The designer papers that coordinate with this suite are gorgeous.  Flirty Flamingo & Night of Navy are so striking when they're used together!

My tip for spacing the words perfectly is to use the negative (the cardstock leftover from cutting the words) as a guide.  Simply lay it on top of the circle and place the words inside the cut-outs.  I used liquid glue placed inside the letter cut-outs, but you could also place the adhesive on the back of the letters before placing them.

Lots of Love at Christmas

 My last Christmas card for this season is for someone very near & dear to me.

The background designer paper is Heartwarming Hugs.  The poinsettias are fussy-cut from Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper.  

I die-cut the heart first before embossing it with one of my favorite folders to give it some texture.  The sentiment, from Itty Bitty Christmas, is fussy-cut.
