I wanted to share this card I made for a very special lady who's turning 95 this month.
This beautiful designer paper is one of my all-time favorites. It's called All About Autumn, and it's been so popular with Stampin' Up! customers that it has sold out twice already, and in production for the third time this fall.
This paper pack is especially well-suited to the Stack, Slice & Shuffle technique because you can show three different patterns on the same card. Trust me, it's hard to choose from just one, as every sheet is gorgeous.
The oak & maple leaves surrounding the sentiment are cut from Oxidized Copper Specialty DSP, which is part of the Autumn Leaves Suite. I've used Thick Very Vanilla cardstock for the base of each card. I chose a mat to coordinate with each card - here, from left to right, the mats are Copper Clay, Moody Mauve & Cajun Craze.
I have to admit that I didn't care for Moody Mauve before I saw this paper. Now I love this color - especially paired with Pretty Peacock.
It's only September and I've already finished most of my Christmas cards for this year. Big yay! Ever since I discovered how much I enjoy making quilt squares from paper, I'm always looking for new ways to incorporate them into my cards.
I had so much fun designing this Christmas Wreath Quilt Square that I ended up making a bunch of them. Here's how I used them to embellish my Christmas cards--
